General
• We’re taking the travel experience to new heights, creating a transformational effect onboard with new and 
updated aircraft.
• Customers will access United’s global network via a modernized fleet and premium onboard experience.
• United’s signature interior for single aisle planes includes seat-back entertainment in every seat with in-seat 
power and wireless Bluetooth connections, larger overhead bins with space for every passenger’s carry-on bag, 
as well as a bright look-and-feel with LED lighting.
• We have over 200 United Next planes in service, as of April 2024 and will take delivery of 800+ new planes by 
2032.
• United is the largest airline in the world with a robust domestic network supporting the global fleet, serving as 
the number one carrier across the Atlantic and Pacific.
The Customer Experience
• United's signature interior promotes a better customer experience with more overall available seats, more 
premium seats on each aircraft, as well as better entertainment, overhead storage and technology features.
• Our United Next aircraft have seatback entertainment screens at every seat with Bluetooth technology for easy 
connections to wireless headphones.
• United's new, significantly larger overhead bins will provide space for one carry-on bag for every person 
onboard, addressing several of the biggest pain points among customers and employees.
• These standards will also be applied to United’s current fleet, with signature interior updates to every singleaisle aircraft.
Creating Careers
• United has hired 15,000 people in 2022 and 2023 and plans to hire 50,000 new employees by the end of 2025.
• Our aircraft order announcements have led to increased hiring. United plans to hire 10,000 pilots by the end of 
the decade.
• The aircraft orders will continue to create long-lasting careers that offer great pay, outstanding benefits, and 
flight privileges to see the world.
Sustainability
• United has set an ambitious goal to be 100% green by reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 100% by 2050, 
without relying on traditional carbon offsets.
• The 737 MAX and A321neo aircraft offer better overall range and environmental performance with their new, 
more fuel-efficient engines and improved aerodynamics.
• Additional improvements come from new engines, lighter-weight carbon composite airframes, new engines, 
more efficient systems applications and modern aerodynamics
